The 100 Push Up Challenge – Week 1

The 100 Push Up Challenge is a weekly challenge running throughout 2018 to get you learning a few simple push up variations and progressing on to some more extreme ones like HSPU’s, towards the end of the year. Week 1 is all about the basics, learning the format of the challenge, and getting stuck in right away!

The Rules Of The Challenge

Each week I will publish the new 100 Push Up Challenge, with an exercise guide and a video walkthrough, all you need to do is sign up below and get each one sent to you, nice and simple?

The Framework

No guys, it isn’t a 1 Set challenge. You aren't expected to do 100 Push Ups in 1 Set. This is a challenge for anyone interested in bodyweight training or just looking for a fun game to play with the community.

So instead of 1 set, I wanted to make it more interesting and include more variety than that.

5 Variations x 20 Reps = 100 Push Ups

Each week I will walk you through the 5 variations for that week so you never need to worry about not knowing the variation, and I will keep a running page with all of the recent challenges for you to check out in your own time.

Then Let’s Get Into It

100 Push Up Challenge Week 1

Week one of the challenge is just going to be doing 100 Push Ups,

The set split will still be the same, 5 Sets of 20 Push Ups, but this is the First week designed for absolute beginners.

So no need to learn crazy push up variations today, that will happen in the coming weeks as we get out of the Beginner’s month in January and into the rest of the year.

The Week One Challenge will look like this:

5 x 20 Push Ups

20 x Push Ups

20 x Push Ups

20 x Push Ups

20 x Push Ups

20 x Push Ups

= 100!
