The 100 Push Up Challenge is a weekly challenge running all Year!

Each Week I release a new challenge, getting progressively harder from basic Push Ups, to Handstand and Planche Push Ups!

The 100 push up challenge is a framework and each week I will making it progressively harder with different variations starting at the simplest and ending somewhere pretty extraordinary.

Every week I will put out the new 100 push up challenge and you guys can all get involved on Instagram by tagging me @morethanlifting and giving it the #100pushupchallenge tag to join the party.

The 100 Push Up Challenge Framework

The Framework Is Simple:

5 sets x 20 reps = 100 reps

Each set will be a different variation (except for January where I will do beginner challenges of 2-3 exercises)

Once February comes around it is going to pick up fast and I want to see just how crazy they can get by the end of the year!

It will be fun!

I will be doubling this up with an article on the each week so you can come back any time to check them out or if you want to join in.

I want this to be a free challenge anyone can take part in which is why I am going to start with the basics and I think making it progressively harder will help others to understand how calisthenics progressions can work - and get you a pretty decent result by the end of it!

Why Push Ups?

Push ups are a simple stop and drop exercise that everyone knows already.

They can be done anywhere with enough space to lay on the floor.

So it doesn't matter if you are in a hotel or on a field.

You don't need any equipment, other than a wall maybe, or a bench or chair to pop your feet on - stairs also work.

The point is, its accessible.

Plus they can be fun, they can be made infinitely harder with various methods - and we will get into them all.

I'm talking handstand push ups to one arm push ups to Aztec push ups and more.

By the end of this year I am going to have a whole host of different variations of the 100 push up challenge for you to dig your nails into, newbie to mastery.
